Pre School and Kinder Garten
For many young children, school can feel like an unfamiliar and intimidating place. Their first experiences often shape how they perceive education for years to come.

Primary (G1-G5)
At the primary level, Lumbini provides a strong academic foundation through the Pearson Edexcel curriculum, focusing on Mathematics, English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing), Burmese, Science, and Social Studies. To support well-rounded development, students also take part in Library, Music, ICT, and Physical Education classes.
Learning begins with concrete, hands-on experiences, gradually progressing to more complex and abstract concepts as students’ understanding and reasoning skills grow. Our experienced and caring teachers create a supportive environment that fosters curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.
Lower Secondary (G6-G8)
In Lower Secondary, Lumbini builds on the academic foundation established in the primary years by deepening students’ knowledge and critical thinking across a broad range of subjects. Following the Pearson Edexcel international curriculum, students study English, Mathematics, Science, Burmese, and Social Studies, alongside ICT, Art, Music, and Physical Education.
The curriculum encourages inquiry-based learning, collaborative problem-solving, and independent research, preparing students for the demands of the IGCSE level. Lessons are designed to move students from concrete understanding to more abstract reasoning, with an emphasis on real-world application and academic rigor.

Pre-IGCSE and IGCSE (G9-G10)
In Grades 9 and 10, students at Lumbini begin focused preparation for the Pearson Edexcel IGCSE examinations. Starting in Grade 9, students are guided to select subject combinations that align with their interests, strengths, and future aspirations.
The two-year IGCSE program emphasizes both academic depth and exam readiness. To support this, students undergo chapter-end tests, two midterms, and two semester exams each year. This structured approach helps students become confident test-takers while allowing teachers to track progress and provide timely support. By the end of Grade 10, students are well-prepared—academically and emotionally—to sit for their IGCSE exams and take the next step in their educational journey with confidence.
